Every design business has a different way of creating and delivering its product to its clients. We are going to open the doors at CTG-Design and let you in on how we go from our first meeting with you to handing over the website we’ve designed to you. Our process is flexible depending on what our clients want and as we learn about different tools we can incorporate them into our sites.
Step 1 - Meeting You, Gathering Your Information, Our Requirements, and Your Ideas for the Site
When starting the process with us, it's important that we meet with you so we can both get an idea of each other. Initially, we will gather some basic information from you such as email, company name, and a logo if you have one. Then we will move forward into the specifics of what you'd like to include on your website such as color palette and special features. These special features can range from eCommerce to a blog to multi-language support, and more. We love this stage because it's where we get to hear your story and learn about the passion you have for your business.
Step 2 - Creating the Site
This is where we get to start having fun. Our designers will take the information gathered from our meeting with you and start constructing your site. In addition to implementing the colors, logo, and features that you want on your site we will also make suggestions as to ways we can improve the site. Incorporating tools such as hotel bookings, restaurant orders, booking, and events management to fit your business structure. We also like to add personal touches based on our conversations with you, from the flag of your home country to a dedication to a loved one that inspired you to start your business.
Step 3 - Review and Design Confirmation
After our designers have begun working their magic to create the site of your dream, we will bring the site to you for review. Any changes you’d like us to make will be implemented at this stage. We will also confirm the structure and basic design of the website to see if we need to go a different route or make minor tweaks to fit your idea. This is also the stage where we would advise you of any suggestions we may have to improve the site to make it easier/more enjoyable for your customers to visit. If the design and website structure is fully approved then we move on to Step 4.
Step 4 - Delivery and Transfer of Ownership
The last stage of the process is delivering the completed site to you. After everything is straightened out with invoices we will turn over the ownership of the site to you. This step is the easiest and just requires you to switch your password once the site is handed over to you so that you are the only one with backend access.
