CTG-Design Team Take: Who Inspired You and Why

CTG-Design is a creative brand, this requires our staff to be prepared to pull inspiration into their work at various times. So what inspires the CTG-Design team? We asked the team to explain to us who inspires them and why so you can get to know us better and see where we get our ideas from. Today’s team includes Operations Director Paloma Cano, Customer Service Representative Ricardo Cano, Social Media Manager Eli Ballesteros, Sales Rep Damaris Drimbe, Logo Designer Sujeily Ruvalcaba, and Blog Writer Jordan Basham.

Our Social Media Manager Eli Ballesteros says, “My kids are my inspiration because they give me the strength to continue and the motivation to become a better person and grow spiritually and in knowledge.” As a parent, Eli reminds herself of her most important reason to stay motivated on days when it seems complicated, her kids.

Our Customer Service and Sales Rep Ricardo Cano says, “The person who inspires me is Elon Musk, he may be a bit superficial but I like him as a role model, recently he published a sentence that says the following, ‘I am inspired by curiosity. That is what drives me. So let us expand the scope & scale of consciousness so that we may aspire to understand the Universe.’ Personally, I always try to live each day as if it were the last, doing the things that I like the most and being thankful for each day.” Ricardo pulls his inspiration from public figures who he admires in the way they strive to grow and be grateful for their lives every day.

Our other Sales Rep Damaris Drimbe says, “Whenever I have doubts about my decisions or feeling lost, I always take a moment to ask myself what would my grandfather advise me or what would he do in that situation. He is my inspiration and role model in life... strong personality and soft heart combined in one person.” Our loved ones can be some of the most inspiring people to us because they understand us on a level that the rest of the world doesn’t.

Our Operations Director Paloma Cano takes inspiration from a mix of personal and professional relationships, “As a businesswoman, I have 2 people who inspire me every day to be a better person and a professional with my team and my clients. They are my boss and my husband. My boss showed me how to develop myself as a free-spirited professional enjoying my work every day so it doesn't feel like actual work but a lifestyle. To show kindness to others, to make them feel part of the family, and to explore my hidden talents. Listening to him every day speaking to people has helped me a lot when I address my clients. My husband has shown me that structured and well-managed logistics planning in your everyday life will leverage your work, and your team removing future headaches. Their experience, talent, drive, and respect for others inspire and encourage me to be that and more every day.”

Our Logo Designer Sujeily Ruvalcaba pulls inspiration from all around her, “It's hard for me to say who my inspiration is because I take everything to get inspired. I get inspiration from music, books I read, commercials, or music videos. I get inspiration from nature itself, the sky, the clouds, from simple everyday life.”

Finally, Blog Writer Jordan Basham says, "I pull a lot of inspiration from personal experiences and from music I listen to, the experiences that the artists are implying they have experienced through their music are inspiring. I also pull inspiration from my boyfriend who I know thinks through things differently than I do so I love to pick his brain on what he thinks of certain things."

As you can see, our creative team not only comes from a wide variety of backgrounds but also gets their inspiration from all different aspects of their lives and the world around them. There may be something listed here that you don’t normally look to for inspiration but now you can think of when you are needing a creativity boost. Thank you for supporting us at CTG-Design in our creative journey as a team and individually.
